I help startup founders validate their business ideas and achieve market traction through coaching.
Being a Startup Founder requires you to be many people at once - Head of Product, Head of Marketing, Head of Customer Development…the list goes on.
And being a Startup Founder, you probably have a strong ability to figure things out. You’re not short of ideas, nor the energy and smarts to execute on them.
But right now, you are most likely full of questions about your new idea. Will this business succeed? Is this a good idea, and is it good enough? Is this something people want and will pay for? Where does this lead?
As a coach, I work for Seth Godin, coaching his Akimbo and altMBA Workshops, helping people tell their stories, bootstrap their business, learn Real Skills, freelance and engage fully with their marketing. I have coached hundreds of entrepreneurs, freelancers and bootstrappers to success.
"Conor's powerful style of conversation and questions has allowed me to uncover whats important and the best actions to take as a I validate and create my new business. He has encouraged and helped me to grow at every opportunity.Working with Conor has saved me days and weeks of time and I look forward to working with him in the future" - Eoghan S.
“Conor really helped me see the bigger picture through his unique way of guiding the conversation and peppering our time together with big questions. Conor was the perfect blend of listener and advisor. He steered the conversation from contemplation to action. I felt heard AND guided, which was exactly what I was looking for; impartial and practical solutions to big business decisions. It has helped me immensely. I’ve been able to grow my business from one Saturday a month to 5 days a week, and if there were an Oscars speech for this, Conor would be top of my list of thank-you’s” – Carla B.

A ton of businesses are started without enough consideration. Validating your idea is meant to create a pause for you to think and reflect, to examine the opportunity before you and think hard about investing years of your life into solving this specific problem. After that, getting market traction (i.e. evidence of demand for your product or service) can be the piece that sets you sprinting forwards.
Validating your business idea and achieving market traction can be a fuzzy process. It covers the space somewhere between “I have an idea that I think is great” and “This is really happening!”
And it isn’t always about whether or not the business will be successful, but whether or not YOU are the person to build it, and what it will mean for your life, your family, and your future.
That all sounds great Conor, but what I really want to know is - how much do you charge?
It depends on what you need. My coaching clients range from “Just tell me exactly what to do” to “I won’t get this done without you,” and everybody in between.
Our first free call will reveal a lot, and give me an idea of what you are looking for and how we can work together.
